Tropical Storm Information
The HSSC Animal Clinic is open for walk-in vaccinations and $10 micro-chipping on Monday until 5pm and Tuesday 8am - noon at 2331 15th Street, Sarasota, FL 34237.The shelter and animal clinic will close to the public on noon Tuesday and will re-open at 10am on Thursday weather-permitting. The Adoption Center will be closed, however all adopters with cats and dogs on hold are encouraged to come in and pick them up.The HSSC storm rider team will remain on-site to care for the cats and dogs entrusted to our care!
Hours of Operation:
Animal Clinic
Monday, August 28: Open 8am - 5pm for Walk-Ins - Vaccinations, $10 Microchipping, and Medication Pick-Up
Tuesday, August 29: Open 8am - Noon for Walk-Ins - Vaccinations, $10 Microchipping, and Medication Pick-Up
Wednesday, August 30: Closed due to inclement weather
Thursday, August 21: Tentatively planning to open at 8am for regular schedule.
Adoption Center
Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for all new adoptions, August 28-30. Adoption holds are being processed 9am - Noon on Tuesday.

We will be closed to the public beginning at Noon Tuesday, August 29 and plan to re-open Thursday at 10am, weather-permitting.
