2024 Paws in Paris
The Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) hosted its annual fundraising luncheon—Paws in Paris—on April 5, 2024, at the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. Area artists and retailers greeted attendees, creating a "stroll through Paris," while the welcome cocktail was served.
Once inside the ballroom, guests were treated to an "ode to Paris," including a vocal performance of "La Vie en Rose," can-can dancers, an accordian player and dancing mimes. Speakers included HSSC Executive Director Anna Gonce, HSSC Board President Janet Boyden, Paws in Paris Co-Chairs Daria Fairchild & Donna Koffman, 2024 HSSC Founder's Award Winner Caryn Wilbraham, Sarasota Scene Magazine Publisher John Knowles and Bill Buckingham.
Paws in Paris raised $311,000 to support HSSC's lifesaving, no-kill mission and its goal to save 3,300 animals in 2024!
