First and foremost: Thank You! Your dedication and commitment are absolutely essential to keeping HSSC operating smoothly. In 2020 you gave over 7,543 hours of your time. Your hard work helps the lives of thousands of dogs and cats ever year.
We appreciate your ability to adhere to our policies yet be flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of our dynamic shelter. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Mandy Ray, at 941.955.4131 x113 with questions, concerns, or feedback.
**Returning volunteers are permitted on HSSC's campus now. Volunteers must sign up for two-hour shifts in advance using VolunteerHub.
Returning volunteers must complete a reorientation session before they can sign up for shifts. This session will include a tour of the campus, as our facilities have changed drastically since March, and a presentation on the new policies, procedures, and roles. Mandy Ray will be providing instructions and dates for the reorientation sessions.**
If you go 60 days without logging into VolunteerHub, your account will be suspended due to inactivity. If you still want to be a volunteer, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Mandy Ray, at 941.955.4131 x113 to have your account reactivated.
