Having a little difficulty gaining the cooperation of your four-legged friend? Does he/she jump on your guests & family? And who is walking whom? If this sounds familiar, we have just what you need… the opportunity for you to learn how to effectively train your dog in a fun and friendly atmosphere, indoors & air-conditioned environment.

Curriculum

Week 1: No dogs (we have SO VERY MUCH to teach you!). We teach you to train your dog …Attention,
Sit, Down, Recall (come), and Settle, Pick out a trick for graduation

Week 2: Review of previous week’s lessons, Loose-leash walking, Target, Sit for Greeting, and Wait

Week 3: Review, Stand, and Reaching for the Collar, (keep working on that trick!)

Week 4: Review, Position Changes (puppy aerobics), and Stay

Week 5: Review, Give-It, Take-It, and Leave-It

Week 6: Recall games, Sit and Down stay practices. Show off the trick that you have been working
on all this time! Enjoy the doggie party and be proud of your four-legged friend!

2008 Schedule: Saturdays, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and Noon to 1 p.m.; Tuesdays - 10 - 11 a.m.
Please Park in Education Lot – Not Main Building Lot

Limit of 10 dogs per class, pre-paid.
Cost $85 (only $65 for HSSC adoptees or HSSC Members) includes $5 materials fee.
